Workshop:
creative escapade: discovering ceramics

Instructor:
Violaine Ulmer

Objective: Three days of immersion to forget everything and get started

I offer an immersion course, far from stress and crowds, where you can experiment with ceramics in a peaceful and friendly environment conducive to creativity. This all-inclusive course (training, accommodation, meals) takes place over three days in our quiet and spacious workshops in a small village in the Aveyron region in the south-west of France.

Three days to experiment with ceramics (porcelain, stoneware) using different shaping and decorating techniques. But also, outside of the learning sessions, to discover the natural and cultural aspects of our region (Soulages museum, swimming in the Viaur, visiting the ‘most beautiful villages in France’, horse riding or kayaking, visiting flea markets, etc.).

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to work with ceramics but has not yet taken the plunge. Or for those who have practised in the past and want to ‘get back into it’.

Three days to discover, experiment, try and exchange ideas in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
